Thoughts of a Cornish doula

New blog...... Old thoughts.

So I used to blog but that all got a bit messed up and I  have started a new blog! I feel that a lot of what I had to say on the old blog is still relevant today, maybe even more so. So over the next few days I will be reposting some of the posts. Some of you may have read them before but maybe you can read them again with new eyes, some of you wont have seen them before so don't be afraid to let me know what you think!

I am planning on doing my best to be completely open in this blog. I will bare my inner workings and probably share things I haven't been brave enough to share before. I am doing this because I think here in Cornwall we can feel a bit disconnected, from each other and from the rest of society. The birth community is so spread out and under such pressure we do not get a lot of time for networking and connecting. I truly feel if we could connect as a community and work together on the improvements needed in the birth world we could make a huge change! To be able to come together and trust each other we need honesty so I am stepping out and giving my honest thoughts and feeling and hopes and fears as I try to navigate my way through the world as a doula, as a woman, as a wife, as a mother. Follow me along the way to experience the twists and turns and highs and lows!

Drop me a comment or a message to let me know anything you would like me to try and cover. Keep up to date with everything that's happening by liking my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/beautifuldoula

Much love x
