I believe good quality antenatal education and doula support should be available to all. If you feel you would benefit from any of my services but are not in a position to pay the full fee up front please do get in touch. I am open to payment plans and skill swaps for part payment. I also offer gift vouchers so let your friends and family know!

One to one intensive day class- In this class we will cover birth physiology, hormones of pregnancy and birth, the stages of labour and birth, protecting the birth environment, comfort measures for pregnancy and birth, birth choices including place of birth and pain relief options, ways for the birth partner to be involved, relaxation, the early days with a baby, feeding options, cloth nappies and more. This workshop runs for a full day and includes refreshments. Cost- £80
Preparing for hospital birth workshop- This workshop is for anyone planning a birth in hospital. We will cover your rights, what is in a hospital room, common challenges, creating a positive birth environment, supporting active birth in hospital, using rebozo and birth balls plus more. This workshop is great for people with more complex pregnancies, those planning an epidural, those needing induction or anyone else planning to birth on an obstetric unit.
Home birth workshop- This is an individual couples 2 hour workshop. Home birth is a real option for a LOT of women. If you have your heart set on a homebirth or you are considering it but not sure this is the workshop for you. We will cover your rights, your options, creating the optimum birth environment, risks and fears, waterbirth, what equipment do you need, what happens after birth and more. Cost- £30
Birth preference workshop- A 2 hour workshop where I support you in writing your birth preference or birth plan. We will cover informed choice, your rights, visual birth plans, information about Vitamin K, Managed third stage and much more. This workshop can also be used to write a birth birth preference for a planned cesarean birth using knowledge of gentle and woman centered cesarean births. Cost- £30
Preparation for breastfeeding workshop- A 2 hour workshop that offers an insight into breastfeeding. Learn about milk production, supply and demand, responsive feeding and realistic expectations. Cost- £30
Planning a Caesarean birth workshop- a 2 hour workshop where we will explore your options for a caesarean birth. We will write your plan and discuss the latest research on caesarean birth. We will talk about your options for things like skin to skin, delayed cord clamping, vaginal seeding and creating a positive environment in theatre. Cost- £30
Mother blessing ceremony- I can facilitate a mother blessing ceremony, to celebrate the journey into motherhood and strengthen the bond between the mother and those that support her. This ceremony can include a blessing bead presentation, a cord binding ceremony, nurturing the mother, sharing supportive stories and advice, calling on mother nature for support, sharing food and much more. I will get to know you and create a personal and special celebration based on what you want and believe. It can be a very spiritual event or it can be focused on love and support.
I can host at my home on the Roseland or I can facilitate in your choice of venue. I can help organise and write a plan for you to use on the day or I can come and run the whole ceremony for you. Cost from £50

Birth doula- My standard package includes up to 5 antenatal sessions of around 2 hours, during these we will discuss your preferences and get to know each other. These sessions can be as formal or as relaxed as you like. I can help you understand birth physiology and hormones, learn comfort measures for birth and support your birth partner in learning ways to comfort you during birth. I go on call at 38 weeks and will then be available 24 hours a day until you give birth. When you are in labour I will come to you when you call and stay with you until you ask me to leave. Once baby is born we will have up to 3 postnatal sessions in the first 6 weeks. These can be for feeding support, emotional support or practical support around the house. I will be available via email for support until your baby is 6 weeks old. Cost- From £500 depending on location- Please get in touch to discuss your needs
Postnatal doula- This package includes 20 hours of postnatal visits usually spread over 2-6 weeks. My aim is to support you in your choices so you can be the best mother you can be. Some of the things I offer include: Breast and bottle feeding support, help create a stress free environment so you can enjoy your babymoon, help with older children, emotional support, looking after baby while you have a bath or get your hair done and also as a cloth nappy adviser I can help with any questions you may have about them and go through my demo kit with you. Additional hours are charged at £15 per hour. Please do contact me if you have any specific requirements. Cost- £300
Birth debrief- This is a one off session for anyone who feels they would like to debrief their birth experience. It can last up to 3 hours and we can discuss anything you feel is important. I will listen without judgement, support you to reflect on your experience and unpick what happened. This can be helpful for anyone who wants to understand their birth. If afterwards you feel like you need more support or information I can signpost you to relevant services locally and nationally. £45 (IF you feel you would really benefit from this service but cannot afford to pay please get in touch, I have a limited number of sessions available on a sliding scale of cost for those who need them.)
